Getting a solid strength workout at home is a challenge. On the one hand, doing just bodyweight exercises
doesn't seem to cut it. On the other hand, you don't want to have dozens of dumbbells rolling around.
The Weider 200 Power Tower tries to solve this problem by combining a few of the main
upper body strength workouts in one piece of equipment that you can see in the picture to your left.
Having this tower allows you to workout your abs, shoulders, chest, back, biceps (indirectly), and triceps. It
doesn't help you to workout your legs.
How do you workout your abs?
The Weider 200 VKR strength power tower webe0914 is the full name of this piece of equipment and as part
of the name signifies, it has a VKR included (Vertical Knee Raise) as you can see in the picture above. This allows
you to perform knee raises or hanging leg raises, two very powerful stomach exercises which work the entire scope
of the abs. Both of these are excellent lower ab exercises.
Trust me, these two exercises are all you need to strengthen your abs, but as you may already know, if you're
looking to burn off belly fat, abs exercises aren't the thing you should be focused on. You should be spending most
of your workout time on doing multi-jointed strength exercises to help build up muscle tissue and boost your body's
natural fat burning capabilities.
The Weider 200 Power Tower does a good job at that.

You can do the following exercises with this power tower:
- The tricep dip as you can see in the picture to the left.
- Push up with special padded handles to provide extra degree of motion
- Pull-ups for your back
- knee and leg raises in the VKR station which is equipped with padded arms and back rest for additional
comfort.
Overall, you can do a solid, all around upper body workout on this tower and do some squats and lunges on the
floor to complete your full body session.
Things to keep in mind
While the Weider 200 Power Tower is a solid piece of equipment, it can't do anything for you. Your results are
solely determined by how you workout, how often, how hard and so on. This isn't one of those shady products which
suggests it can deliver outstanding results by some magical force. Either you do the work or not.
In addition, you have to have enough room in your home for this tower to fit in comfortably. The tower measures
84 x 41 x 57 inches. Make sure it fits.

Some Tips
- Even though you workout at home doesn't mean you should skip a few minutes of warm-up. Do some jumps,
stretching, anything to get you a bit warmed up.
- You won't get any results if you don't eat right. Building more muscle mass can help you burn belly fat but

- When you assemble this tower follow the instructions to the letter. Don't assume you know how to do this or
you may have to do it over.
