You may have heard of Acai Berries and Acai Pills. They're the biggest and latest rage in the weight loss industry. They even had a segment on Oprah about them.

Acai Berry is supposed to be able to help you lose weight fast by controlling your appetite and sort of mysteriously make the pounds evaporate. Thousands of people have tried Acai berries, but the bigg problem is not whether it works or not, but how it is actually marketed.

The Free Trial Scam - Scam Alert

You may have seen some websites which offer a 14 or 15 day free trial of Acai Berry. This is a clever marketing ploy but a ploy is all it is. It's very tempting. You only need to pay a few dollars for shipment and you get to sample the product for Free. It's a great way for you to be able to tell if this can really help you to lose weight or not, right?

Dead Wrong!!!

What you don't know is that the fine print on these malicious websites states the real and dismal truth: You will be automatically charged for new bottles of berries each and every month from here to eternity. Sometimes, the monthly charge will be $90 or more (this is far more expensive than the price you will need to pay if you just go out and buy a bottle for yourself, and you only wanted a Free Trial).

This way thay get to charge you over and over again. Month after month without end. It's terrible

Call To Cancel - Not Too Easy

It would all be alright if you could just call up like they promise and cancel your charges any time you wanted. But this is often harder than it seems. While many of these websites give you a phone number to call, it's close to impossible to find anyone to talk to over there. Either you get an annoying recording which doesn't get you anywhere or some helpless employee who doesn't have the authority to cancel orders.

I even heard of cases in which the person who picked up the phone was only authorized to take orders, never to cancel them.

This affects thousands of people and it has to stop here and now.

So, you waste your time, money on useless phone calls, and can't stop the charges no matter what you do. In some cases, in order to finally break free you have to cancel your credit card which is a major hassle. And all because these people want to make more money.

The main problem is how we've gotten used to believe that magical pills, patches, and potions can help us to shed pounds forever. It just doesn't work that way and it never will. I wish that it did.
